We painted wet-on-wet watercolors to celebrate Martinmas:
We began the lanterns with a lemon yellow glow in the center of the page. Then we added red and blended to an orange glow, added the prussian blue at the top of the page and blended a bit to get purple. We added ultramarine blue a the bottom of the page for the grass. We made sure there was a nice yellow glow on the green grass. Now the paper was dry enough to use an orange that I mixed to form the lantern.
